Racing got underway on Thursday for the CentrePort International Youth Match Racing Championships.

Unfortunately the wind did not play its part, and only one flight got underway. Sailors were sent ashore with consistent breeze above 30 knots, before it was cancelled completely for the day. Anyon (RNZYS) and Marsh (RPNYC) took the only wins of the day over Wright (RPNYC) and Corston (NPCL) respectively.

Although sailors couldn’t race on the water, they took to the go-kart track along with the coaches where there was a lot of ‘friendly’ competition.
