Expressions of interest are now open for the Under 23 Squad and Winter Programme for the 2017/18 season. Please only fill out one form. If you are unsuccessful in making the Under 23 Squad there will still be the opportunity to be part of the Winter Programme squad on a Saturday. Expressions of Interest for both close on the 20th April at 5pm.
Winter Programme
Winter Programme is an awesome way to be introduced to keel boats and learn to match race. The sailors will work towards an end of season two day regatta. The programme will run on a Saturday over two 8 week sessions. Session times are dependent on numbers, however the aim is to run a morning and afternoon session. The Winter Programme will run between the below dates with a break for the school holidays:
- 13 May-1 July
- 29 July-16 September

Under 23 Squad
If you are interested in trialling for the Under 23 Match racing Squad for the 2017/18 season please fill out the attached form. The Under 23 Squad is aimed at those who already have keel boat or match racing experience and are wanting to extend towards a high performance programme. There is the opportunity to compete nationally and internationally on the trans-tasman match racing circuit. The Under 23 Squad also encompasses many other aspects such as fitness, theory sessions and fundraising. It is important to be committed and participate in all areas.
Trials will be held on the 30 April and 7 May 9-1pm at RPNYC. Further details will be provided via email closer to the time.
