Day 3

1140: After a big day of racing with the Race Committee getting through 18 flights, we are back out on the water ready to finish the final 8 flights of round robin 2.

1220: Flight 12 Match 1 – After a tight battle right around the course, Sarah Parker luffed Hern aggressively 50m before the finish line resulting in her brother Malcom falling out of the boat! Hern managed to roll over the top and clinch the win. It’s all on here in Wellington!

1300: Flight 13 Match 1 – Mackay beats Costanzo comfortably sailing a solid race. Flight 13 Match 2 – In an all CYCA affair Kernot sails strongly to secure the win over Jones.

1330: Flight 14 Match 1 – Kernot beats Costanzo. Flight 14 Match 2 – Jones beats Mackay.

1415: After 2 Round Robins Henry Kernot and his CYCA team remain undefeated on 14 wins. Standby for semi-final pairings!

1420: Semi finals are Kernot vs MacKay. Jones vs Anyon

1435: Kernot has a comanding lead over Mackay. Jones and Anyon even off the line

1440: Kernot takes the first race of the semi final

1445: Anyon holds a comfortable lead over Jones approaching last top mark

1540: In a thrilling last race Kernot came from behind and overtook mackay right before the finsh after both boats wiped out impressively.

1545: The finalists are Henry Kernot from CYCA vs Murray Jones CYCA. No more racing today

Day 2

1000: With a an earlier start to Day two in order to catch up on yesterdays delays we are all go in the mouth of Evans Bay in a perfect 10 – 12 knot southerly.

1048: Three flights down. Check results sheet!

1140: Finally string the races together. The underdogs from Canterbury have been on a roll this morning winning three races. Kernot beat Anyon by 1 sec in a thrilling race.

1410: breeze is up to 18 knots two flights left in round robin one. The plan is to go straight into round robin 2

Day 1

1100: Racing is underway for the 2015 CentrePort International Youth Match Racing Championships in a 20 knot northerly. A damaged mast due to a rig clash before the start has slowed race progress.

1500: With 3 flights done this morning the wind has risen to 30 knots, currently holding on shore waiting for the breeze to drop. Hopefully make a call in the next ten min.
