The Youth Scheme is seeking expressions of interest for the 2016/17 Under 23 squad and the 2016 Winter Programme.

Under 23 Squad
The RPNYC Wellington Youth Sailing Scheme introduces youth sailors into the world of match racing. Intensive training on the Elliot 6m yachts gives sailors the ability to participate in regattas both nationally and internationally. Trials will be held late April 2016.

Winter programme
The aim of the Winter Programme is to introduce dinghy sailors into larger boats and learn how to match race. The aim is to get sailors to a level where they can participate in the Winter Programme Regatta at the end and demonstrate their newly acquired skills in a bit of friendly competition. It is a stepping stone to the Under 23 Squad, who have the opportunity to match race nationally and internationally. The proposed dates for this year are two eight week sessions with a break for the school holidays in between.
